July 11 – World Population Day
8 billion people. 70 million more each year. But how many have clean water?
July 11 marks World Population Day, it reminds us that there's a real life behind every number. — someone with dreams, needs, and the right to
autonomy, safe water, health, and dignity.
Indeed, rural, drought-prone, and high-salinity communities face increasing pressure to meet their most basic water needs.Water accessibility is
about where every home, and every life, begins.
This year, we are posing a deeper question: In a rapidly growing world, how can we make sure that everyone — even those at the margins — has
access to clean and safe water?
As the global population continues to grow, so does our shared responsibility.
HJC work for water access — reaching the overlooked, recognizing the underserved, and listening to the unheard.
Because every drop of water is a gesture of respect — for life, for dignity, and for what comes next.
