On October 18, 2026, HJC joined the Chongyang Festival celebration in Xinhong Village, Cili County, Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, as one of the event's main sponsors.
Held under the theme "Celebrating Chongyang, Honoring Our Elders", the gathering brought together around 450 villagers for a day dedicated to appreciation, companionship, and community.

A Village Filled with Festive Cheer
From the morning's greetings to the lively performances and shared meals, Xinhong Village was filled with the spirit of Chongyang.

At the village committee square, older residents gathered to receive holiday gifts prepared especially for them. Insulated cups, rice, drinking water, and cushions were distributed to residents aged 60 and above, accompanied by warm greetings and conversations. More than a simple exchange of gifts, it was an opportunity to show appreciation for the older generation and let them enjoy the attention and warmth of the occasion.
The celebration soon came alive with music and performances. Local villagers took the stage to share their talents, bringing laughter, applause, and a festive atmosphere to the gathering. Representatives from the village committee also delivered holiday greetings, expressing their appreciation for the elders and everyone who had helped make the celebration possible.
One of the day's biggest highlights was the communal banquet. With approximately 45 tables set up, around 450 people sat down together to share a festive meal. Familiar faces, lively conversations, and the sounds of a bustling gathering made the banquet more than just a meal. It was a moment of connection, where neighbors came together and generations shared in the joy of the festival.
For the older residents, the celebration offered something especially meaningful: time spent with neighbors, familiar voices, thoughtful gifts, and the feeling of being remembered and valued.

The Meaning of Chongyang: Respect, Care, and Companionship
Traditionally observed on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, the Chongyang Festival is a time in Chinese culture to honor older generations and express respect and gratitude.
Its meaning goes beyond a festive occasion. As families and communities change, many younger people leave their hometowns for work, while older residents continue their daily lives in the villages they have always called home.
In this context, community gatherings become especially valuable. They create opportunities for older people to reconnect with neighbors, enjoy shared experiences, and feel the warmth of belonging.
A thoughtful gift, a festive performance, or a seat at a shared table may seem like a small gesture, but together they make a day worth remembering.
HJC: Caring for the Communities That Matter
Xinhong Village holds a special place in HJC's story as the hometown of the company's founder. Although HJC has grown to serve customers across international markets, its connection to home remains an important part of its identity.
As one of the main sponsors of this year's celebration, HJC provided financial support and participated in the event's organization, working alongside the village committee and other community supporters.
For HJC, supporting this gathering was not simply about sponsoring a festival. It was an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of local residents, honor the older generation, and take part in a tradition that brings people together.

HJC believes that corporate responsibility extends beyond business operations. It also means caring about people, supporting communities, and contributing to meaningful causes wherever possible.

The Chongyang celebration in Xinhong Village was one expression of this commitment. As HJC continues to grow, the company hopes to remain connected to its roots and carry this spirit of care into the communities it serves.
